The Navel orange is one of the most commonly eaten orange varieties and is prized for its sweet, seedless flesh and rich citrus aroma. Unlike juicing oranges, the fruit’s characteristic navel and dense pulp make it ideal for fresh eating and use in salads.

Despite their sweetness, navel oranges have a thicker skin and contain higher levels of limonin and other limonoids, which can impart a slight bitterness and make the juice less appealing compared to Valencia oranges. However, the thick rind makes them easy to peel and helps protect the fruit during transport.

Harvest Valley selects and grades Class A navel oranges from Egyptian orchards between December and March. Each fruit is carefully harvested, sorted, and packed to preserve its natural color, flavor, and seedless segments for discerning buyers worldwide.
